COPYING IS A COMPLIMENT, RIGHT?

Something mad has happened! (a good mad, don't worry your little socks off hahaha). Well on the front page of this blog if you scroll allllllll the way down to the bottom, you will see on bottom right corner of the screen (or in the middle if you are on a phone) that there is a thingy ma bobby (very descriptive) that displays a number (I know so exciting at the moment right). This morning when I woke up, I scrolled down to the bottom of the page and saw that the number was 70! That means 70 people have seen my blog. THAT IS MAD! I know that the number may not seem that much to you, but to me it's massive! I created this blog literally 4 days ago (published it 3) SOOOOO that means in 3 days 70 people have seen my blog and that makes me super duper duper duperrrrr happy.

Anyway, onto todays topic (I feel like I am one of those news people in the old days, hear ye hear ye hahaha). I wanted to talk about copying.

I don't mean copying like with a photocopyer taking photographs of your bum (never done that by the way). I am talking about the kind of copying were someone does something, and then someone does exactly the same.

One of my newest friends, has just had a little chat to me about this (she doesn't know about the blog). She is madly in love with Five Seconds Of Summer by the way, incase any of you are. Anyway she was talking to me about this new hair style she had done (hair style, I know so girly hahaha) and she had posted a picture on good old Instagram. About a a day or two after, she had a very large complaint to me about how one of my older friends (older as in I have knowen her for longer, not in age) completely copied her and put a similar picture on Instagram.

I don't mind people copying in that kind of way (depending on the situation), I was just very confused as to why she was so upset about it. Most people I know don't like people copying them, and that's very normal. I just never understood why it's such a bad thing. I mean, isn't copying a compliment? When someone copies you, doesn't it mean that they like what you have done?

Ok, lets call the person who was copied the copied and the person who copied the copier (please excuse my spelling). If you were put in the copied shoes, you would be angry, right? Or at least not exactly happy. On the other hand, if you were to put yourself in the copiers shoes, you would see nothing wrong, right? If you were in the copiers shoes, you would just see it as they had a great idea so you wanted to do it to.

Unless you copy with school work, that is BAD and you should NEVER copy in school. Then I personally see no problem.

Next time you get anrgy because someone has copied you, just try and remeber they don't mean it badly. Put yourself in there shoes and think about what they would feel like if you were to get angry at them. Unless it's with school work, then go wild.
